The SV Bar Check is a low cost, high accuracy hand held package designed to enable rapid checks of sound velocity in shallow water. The system includes a sound velocity sensor, 20m of data / power cable, and the Smart View display and data logger. The Smart View data logger is packaged in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The entire system is delivered in a case the size of a toolbox. The system displays sound velocity in real-time and can store multiple profiles in memory.

This distinction is important.
