CTD - Conductivity Temperature Depth : Micro CTD : Description The Micro CTD is a small, high performance and flexible CTD. With 25Hz sampling and conductivity response times of 25 milliseconds at 1 m/s flow, the instrument is ideal for integration onto high speed vehicles. With rapid response times on all three sensors, salinity spiking is minimized without relying on pumps or other moving parts. This configuration of Micro CTD is externally powered; other self-powered configurations are available.

Using the above, our conductivity sensor has a response time of 25 milliseconds in a 1.0 m/second flow environment and 255 milliseconds in a 0.1 m/second flow environment. Given the above, no pumps or flow tubes are required. |
